KSBL is seeking the services of an Associate Dean/Manager Business Development, Executive Education, who will be responsible for maximizing revenue from Executive Education courses by defining and achieving short- and long-term objectives both in terms of sales value and volume, through development and profitable growth of the segment. The successful incumbent will demonstrate initiative and be result-oriented with a clear focus on achievement of objectives and with a track record of having developed strategic business plans.
Major accountabilities
- Prepare and implement strategic business plan and sales strategies for Executive Education with clear vision and time frame to achieve organizational goals
- Assess market opportunities and build database of potential customers
- Generate open enrolment and custom Executive Education business by prospecting, motivating, developing and negotiating with clients
- Develop competitive benchmarking and pricing strategy (within the scope of the overall pricing policy) in order to secure business and achieve sales targets
- Manage relations with clients, generate new business opportunities and ensure increasing customer awareness of KSBL’s Executive Education courses
- Ensure timely development of support campaigns
Applicants must
- Hold an MBA or PhD in business discipline.
- Have minimum of 8 years’ Marketing experience including a Business Development role in a large organization
- Be familiar with marketing research techniques
- Have experience of developing business plans and be able to translate overall strategy into short- and long-term plans
- Possess outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Have strong problem-solving, negotiation and decision making abilities
