Inter State Gas Systems, a government owned company, is engaged in programmes to import natural gas through cross-border pipelines to meet the energy requirements of Pakistan. The company is implementing capital intensive projects of strategic national importance, which offer a high level of visibility and growth opportunities to professionals associated with them.

The company, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for a dynamic, self-driven professional upto 55 years of age to lead the company as its MD/CEO.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably in Petroleum Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Science, Financial/Business Management and/or Fellow member of CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA. International qualification from a reputed university/institution shall be given preference.

Profile

• At least 20 years of demonstrated experience in local and/or international corporate sector or governmental service. Out of total experience at least 8-10 years should be in the energy sector at the senior policy and management level.
• Expertise in planning, negotiation, developing and handling large energy infrastructure projects i.e. oil refineries, LNG terminals, oil/gas pipelines, power plants etc. (preferably in Pakistan) is a must.
• Hands on experience and clear understanding of domestic/international energy sector projects management/utilities management, oil and gas sector contemporary markets, market models, market dynamics etc.
• Extensive experience in the area of corporate restructuring, investment planning, senior level policy formulation etc.
• Capability to mediate between technical, economic, financial subjectsand guiding decision making in due course.
• Exposure of coordination with international donors, financial institutions/ multilateral institutions.

Job is Islamabad based. Selected candidate will be offered 3 (three) years contract (extendable) with market salary and other perks & privileges to commensurate with the experience.
