KSBL is seeking the services of an IT Project Manager who will
conceive, plan, execute, and maintain the IT hardware and software
infrastructure according to user-defined requirements. This includes
acquisition of resources and coordination with team members,
contractors and/or consultants in order to deliver the project through
its full life cycle.
Major accountabilities
- Develop an IT Strategy for KSBL including the IT architecture and all related policies, guidelines, and controls
- Map, evaluate, recommend, implement, and thereafter maintain a full
ERP solution for the Business School encompassing all business,
academic, and student-related functions in consultation with all users
and stakeholders, within the agreed cost and time targets
- Select, implement, and maintain operating system and business
communication, word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software,
as appropriate to the Business School requirements, activities, and
usage
- Select and implement modern web-based conferencing, distance learning and on-line teaching systems and processes
- Work with the building Architect to provide all necessary IT
related inputs to ensure that all design requirements are incorporated
in the business design
- Evaluate, recommend, purchase, install, commission and maintain hardware required to run the above systems
- Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems including scheduled
upgrades, virus-protection, security of access, adherence to licensing
requirements, contingency back-up and user-support on demand
- Maintain, upgrade, and keep updated the KSBL website portal
Applicants must
- Hold Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT
- Have 5-10 years’ relevant experience in IT Project related activities
- Be able to conceptualize and develop complete options from incomplete and vague baseline data
- Have direct experience in implementation of a recognized ERP system
- Have strong communication and leadership skills as well as outstanding problem-solving and decision making abilities
