Trainee Engineer
Qualification :
BE in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Mechatronics from HEC recognized institution with min CGPA 3.4 / overall (80+) %

Senior Contracts Officer
Description :
Prepare contracts with a view to support OMV Pakistan’s departmental requirements of works and services by contractors in a timely and cost effective manner, ensuring conformity to Company’s E&P Process Description for Global Procurement and local Petroleum Concession Agreements (PCAs), Joint Operations Agreements (JOAs) and the related laws.
Key Accountibilities :
• Prequalify contractors using questionnaires and appropriate evaluation criteria.
• Prepare RFPs including work scopes, commercial forms, Instruction to tenderers, general and special conditions
• Issue of Tenders, administration of tender clarifications, response to tender queries.
• Evaluate tenders using technical as well as commercial evaluation criteria, Lead tender evaluation team, prepare evaluation reports, make recommendations for award to Management and stake holders.
• Conduct tender clarification and contract negotiation meetings, prepare contract documents incorporating all the agreed changes and get approval from Management and stake holders.
• During the life of contracts, respond to contract interpretation requests, negotiate and recommend variation orders as per the requirement of the work.
• Comply with all PCA/JOA requirements
Qualification :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, university degree in Management or Finance or Law will be an added advantage.
Experience :
• Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas (Upstream) sector including minimum 5 yrs in a similar capacity.
• Should have knowledge of E&P Process Description for Global Procurement and local PCAs / JOAs and laws
• Knowledge of latest trends in commercial contract management/procurement
• Excellent negotiation and commercial contract management skills.
Shift Engineer (Off Plot Engineer)
Description :
To achieve specified production targets of off plot systems whilst ensuring equipment integrity and high standards of safety. Effective coordination and control of off-plot production operators will be desired.
Key Accountibilities :
• Responsible work program for off-plot areas including annual testing campaigns; distribution of job to individuals with clear guidance
• In case of equipment failure take decision and direct necessary activities to bring wells & pipelines in safe condition to minimize production loss
• Call for execution of planned maintenance (PM’s) and repair of defective equipment in off-plot areas
• Execute and monitor Permit to Work System as Permit Co-ordinator for off-plot areas & assume role in Emergency Response Team
• Assist in developing operation and maintenance management system for the well site and pipelines
• Execute operating procedures and give feedback to the supervisor for review and up-date
• Monitor and maintain levels of consumable materials of off-plot production system
Qualification :
• BSc in Mechanical / Petroleum Engineering - Masters degree will be a plus.
Experience :
• At least 10 years experience in gas well operation
• Experienced in work-over supervision and X-mas tree maintenance
• Good command of verbal and written expression;
• Computer literacy (MS-office, MMS)
