BHP Billiton Petroleum is a significant oil and gas explorer, and producer, with major production assets in Australia, the United Kingdom, the Gulf of Mexico (US), Algeria, Pakistan and Trinidad & Tobago.
In 1995, a BHP BIlliton joint venture was awarded the Dadu Concession (Block 2667-1) located in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. The Zamzama gas field was discovered in 1998. The field began producing in March 2001. Full field development (Phase 1) was completed in July 2003 and a gas sales agreement was signed with SSGCL/SNGPL for sale of 320MMSCFD of gas. The next phase of Zamzama development has recently been completed involving new gas treatment facilities to increase gas sales by an additional 150 million standard cubic feet per day.
Pakistan's operations achieved a significant milestone - nine years without a Lost Time Incident at its Zamzama Gas Plant operation. The facility continued certification for both ISO 14001 for Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Systems and received an Environmental Excellence Award by the Pakistan NGO, the National Forum for Environment and Health. The Pakistan operations sponsored significant community programs focusing on sustainable development.
This is an Islamabad based position reporting to the Operations Services Team Leader. Key responsibilities include development and maintenance of SAP Plant Maintenance Procedures and training documentation; ensuring SAP PM Systems and Process meets the HSEC and QA objectives; providing functional and process support; maintaining the integrity of the SAP PM system by administering the change control and housekeeping of all Master Data, including technical object structure, bill of materials, maintenance plans and task lists; ensuring maintenance plans within the SAP PM module; development and maintenance of site-specific SAP PM training documentation and maintenance process manuals, interface with key users for system/problem solving and issue resolution, participation in projects associated with data enhancement and reliability improvements; Conduct SAP PM analysis and reporting of relevant KPIs as per petroleum -wide requirements; planning of major shutdowns; participation in equipment cost, reliability analyses and stewardship of budgeted items, Coordination for operational planning and scheduling; liaising with other functions within PPU.
Graduate Engineer from a recognised University with at least 8 years experience preferably with any multinational organization. Should be computer literate, having experience on CMMS (SAP/Maximo). Strong planning, communication, presentation, negotiation & influencing skills are expected.
