PROJECT MANAGER REQUIRED
United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) in Pakistan is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager. Water and Sanitation Improvement in Informal Settlements through Gender Mainstreaming and Empowerment of Local Authorities. The project aims to improve water supply, sanitation and hygiene situation of the selected setDements by addressing gender issues and building local capacities. In addition, the project will address gender and social issues in existing WATSAN policies. This is a project developed in the context of One UN Programme and Delivering As One.
The position is open to senior experts in the Water Sector development and management in Pakistan, requiring in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures at the provincial and federal level. With minimum 15 years of experience, the suitable candidate will have attained extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis, and some experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects. Knowledge, skills and
experience in the usage of computers and office software packages,
