| Key Responsibilities: |
* Responsible for regular Operations and
Maintenance of Telenor's Core IP/MPS Network. * Responsible for regular Operations and Maintenance of Telenor's Enterprise IP Network. * Co-ordination with vendors for fault identification and rectification. Problem synthesis & reporting. * Execution & follow up of work orders for new/upcoming projects & expansion activities. * Co-ordination with Planning / Implementation team for smooth execution of any project. * Responsible for Network Management systems running in the network. * Owner ship of on-going project running in IP domain & regular operations & maintenance tasks. * Monitoring of Traffic flows, critical interfaces, any loopholes in the IP Core network. * 24*7 available for on call support. * Problem monitoring & escalations as per standard operations procedure. * Troubleshooting of any unusual behavior. * Schedule preventive maintenance activities as per requirement. * Documentation of change management & network topologies, when & where required. |
| Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas: |
* Excellent skills in IP
Networks having experience of Implementation and Operations, of 3 years. * Good working experience of IP routing protocols, especially MPLS, BGP & OSPF is required. * Excellent hands on experience on high end Cisco routers, Switches, VPNs, Firewalls. * Working knowledge of GSMA architecture and advanced IP technologies e.g. IPoDWDM, Carrier & Metro Ethernet. * Knowledge of SDH / TXN equipments. * Good working knowledge on NMS platforms, e.g., HP Openview, Solarwinds, CA Spectrum. * Goal oriented with focus on deliverables. * Ensuring MPLS network availability 99.99% * Pro-active approach towards fault identification by devising preventive maintenance routines. * Well structured approach in tackling work assignments. * Ability to work independently under demanding situations. * Good interpersonal skills. * Direct and open communication. |
